Cured Car Detailing

New Car Protection Package

Aftercare Guide

Your vehicle is protected with Full Front-End PPF and Full Exterior Ceramic Coating. Follow this guide to keep the finish looking new and to maintain your warranty coverage.

First 7 Days - Curing

  • Do not wash the vehicle for the first 7 days to allow the ceramic coating to fully cure.
  • Avoid rain, sprinklers and any water contact for the first 24-48 hours where possible.
  • Do not apply waxes, sealants or quick detailers during the curing period.
  • Park indoors or in shade where possible for the first week.

Washing Your Vehicle

  • Wait a minimum of 7 days after collection before the first wash.
  • Use a pH-neutral car shampoo - never dish soap or household cleaners.
  • Wash every 2 weeks using the two-bucket method (one wash, one rinse).
  • Use only soft microfibre wash mitts and drying towels - no brushes or sponges.
  • Wash from the roof down, finishing with the lower panels and wheels last.
  • Dry thoroughly with a clean microfibre towel to prevent water spots.

Caring for Your PPF

  • PPF is self-healing - light swirls and fine scratches recover with warm water or sunlight.
  • Do not wax or polish the film. Use only PPF-safe detail spray if desired.
  • Avoid parking under trees where sap and bird droppings can sit for long periods.
  • Lift edges gently when drying - never pick or pull the film at the borders.
  • Remove bird droppings, bugs and tar promptly with a soft, damp microfibre.

Caring for Coated Glass

  • Clean glass with a dedicated ceramic-safe glass cleaner and microfibre cloth.
  • Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners on coated side and rear glass.
  • Do not use scrapers or abrasive pads on coated glass.
  • Use wipers only when necessary and keep the wiper rubber clean.

Caring for Coated Wheels

  • Allow wheels to cool fully before cleaning - never wash hot wheels.
  • Use a pH-neutral wheel shampoo and a soft barrel brush only.
  • Avoid acidic wheel cleaners - they will degrade the ceramic coating.
  • Clean wheels before the rest of the vehicle to prevent overspray.

What to Avoid

  • Automatic car washes (brush and touchless) - hand wash only.
  • Acidic, alkaline or solvent-based cleaners.
  • Wax, polish or sealant on the ceramic coating or PPF.
  • Drying the vehicle in direct sunlight or with a hot surface.
  • Leaving bird droppings, sap or bug splatter to bake on.
